Pengertian Tenses

Tenses merupakan bentuk dari kata kerja bahasa inggris yang bertujuan memperlihatkan keterangan waktu (Past, Present, And Future) yang menjelaskan ihwal kejadian dan atau peristiwa.Tenses bahasa inggris sendiri mampu dibagi menjadi 3 penggalan utama yakni :

• Past (Masa Lalu)
• Present (Masa Kini)
• Future (Masa Depan)

Dari ketiga tenses tesebut mampu dibagi kembali menjadi 16 bentuk tenses.

Present

Present ialah rumus yang digunakan untuk memperlihatkan waktu kini ini. Bentuk Present mampu dibagi menjadi 4 bentuk Tenses yakni :

Present tense

Present tense merupakan bentuk kata kerja yang paling populer dan banyak digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu fakta, kejadian, kebiasaan,  kegiatan dan lain sebagainya dan terjadi pada masa kini ini. Present Tense juga sering digunakan untuk mengungkapkan fakta yang terjadi berulang-ulang dalam masa kini.

Present Continuous Tense

Present continuous tense merupakanbentuk kata kerja yang menyatakan sebuah aksi yang sedang berlangsung saat ini (present) dan rencana di masa mendatang (future). Karena mampu digunakan dalam bentuk present and future. Present Continuous Tense sering diikuti oleh adverb of time sebagai penguat.

Present perfect ialah bentuk kata kerja yang umum digunakan untuk menyatakan perbuatan dan kejadian yang telah dikerjakan namun masih berkaitan dengan masa sekarang

Future

Future merupakan kata kerja yang digunakan untuk menandakan keterangan waktu yang akan tiba atau masa depan. Future sendirimemiliki bentuk tenses yang terbayak dibandingkan dengan past dan present.
